The Central Institute of Education Technology (CIET) on the e-Pathshala mobile app released the NCERT audio books on their official website on Saturday. These audio books are available for class primary to class 12th, which can be accessed online. These audiobooks will also prove useful for children with special need.
MHRD wrote about this on its official Twitter handle, “NCERT text books are also available in audio form now! This facility will prove very useful for Divyang and Children with Special Needs. Also it will be very important during the Corona period.
You can also access them through Google Assistant
Students can also access these NCERT Audio Books through Google Assistant. Open Google Assistant by speaking ‘OK Google’ in the smartphone or pressing the voice assistant option. After the voice assistant is activated, say ‘Speak to NCERT’. The assistant will ask you about your class, chapter, unit and the story you want to hear. Now speak your preferred option and the audio-book will begin.
Available NCERT Audio Books From Primary to Class 12th are as below
The audio book will have class 1 to 8 in Marigold, Rimjhim, Ruchira, Durva, Vasantha, A Pact with Sun, Honey Sakal, History- Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya, History is an exciting saga, its language books will be available.
At the same time, Class 9 and 10 Beehives, Moments, Kritika, Kshitij, Sparsh, Harvesting, India and Contemporary World, Democratic Politics, Gulzare-e-Urdu, Artha Shastra, Shemushi, Contemporary India, Contemporary India-1, Nava-e- Urdu, Footprint Without Feet Books will be available in the audio book.
Similarly, Class 11’s Interval, Vitaan, Hornbill, Aroh, Woven Words and Class 12th Vitaan 2, Aroh 2, Interval 2, Flamingo, Expression and Medium and Audio Books of Kalidoscope will be available.
