IIT NIT IIIT Counseling for 2020 session will be started in all the 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, IIEST Shivpur and 30 government aided technical institutes of the country.

In the midst of the Corona crisis, IIT NIT IIIT Counseling for the 2020 session is going on in all the 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, IIEST Shivpur and 30 government aided technical institutes of the country. Explain that online counseling window is open from October 6 for admission to B.Tech, BE, Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning.
The JEE Advanced 2020 will open the online IIT NIT IIIT counseling window of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2020 (JoSSA) on the very next day after the result is released for admission to the IITs. Let me tell you that for the first time this year online counseling will be held in only six rounds, earlier it was seven rounds. Apart from this, the seat allocation and admission process will be completed by November 12.
The seats for admission to IITs will be JEE Advanced and NIT, IIIT, IIEST Shivpur and other 30 central institutes will get seats from JEE Main 2020 merit. For this, the candidates will first have to register themselves with the JEE Advanced and JEE Main 2020 students on the website of JoSSA. Then with registration from October 6, students will have to choose their choice for the preferred course and institute.
Steps for Admission Process
Step 1: First of all, students will be able to register on the website by October 15.
Step 2: After this, seat allotment will be done on October 17 under round one.
Step 3: Round two on October 21, round three on October 26, round four on October 30
Step 4: Round 5 will be held on November 3 and last round six on November 7.
Step 5: After this, the candidates will get the allotment location of their seat.
November 9 is the last date
In all 23 IITs, the process of seat allotment, admission, leaving seat etc. will be closed on 9 November under online counseling. Whereas NIIT, IIIT and other 30 institutions will run the process till November 12.
